Martin is Researcher at the National Cancer Institute (INCA) and at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (FIOCRUZ). He is also a member of the ASGCT (American Society for Gene and Cell Therapy) International Gene and Cell Therapy Committee.

Martin earned a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences (1999) and Ph.D. in Biochemistry (2004) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Martin has broad experience in areas related to cell and gene therapy as well as tumor immunology and immunotherapy.
