Martin is a Researcher at the National Cancer Institute (INCA) and at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (FIOCRUZ). He is also a member of the ASGCT (American Society for Gene and Cell Therapy) International Gene and Cell Therapy Committee.

Martin earned a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences (1999) and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry (2004) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Martin has broad experience in areas related to cell and gene therapy as well as tumor immunology and immunotherapy.
